Vector art: Where does Soya Milk come from?
Quite a while back, I was having a discussion with a friend, over one of my other artwork, Tofu is not a fruit. We started passing ideas back and forth and he came up with this very whimsical sketch. Taking the piece of paper, I promised I would digitise it for him.
After much procrastination, I finally managed to scan in the sketch and bring it to Illustrator where much tracing and playing about ensued. The finished piece is below and available as a desktop wallpaper:
2560 x 2048 (regular) | 2560 x 1600 (widescreen)
Here's a small animated WIP for amusement:

What do you think of the final piece? Do you find the story amusing? Is the WIP animation helpful? Did you feel an earlier screenshot was better? Leave your comments below:

Love it! It’s really fascinating to see each stage of the whole design process behind this.
What font is it, that you’ve used for the explanations? (white text on black bg)

It’s called Lexia Readable. It’s free to use for personal and educational use and was created to be easily read by those with reading difficulties. ^^

Agree with Anlina, it’d be really cute on a tshirt. I think the previous font gives a more “organic” feel to the whole piece, but it’s adorable either way!

Thanks Anlina and Pernilla (hee hee, rhymes).
As for the font choice… that’s what I thought. I was going with a child’s book illustration feel so opted to change it in the end.
